We all know Facebook stores a hell of a lot of data on all it’s users, but did you know there are 59,000,000 addresses readily available on Facebook RIGHT NOW!! That’s nearly the population of the United Kingdom (61.8 million).
This may sound surprising to you, it was to me when I first digested this information, but when you realise 194,350,000 people don’t even know about Facebook privacy settings, it’s no wonder so much sensitive data is so freely available.
To demonstrate why online security needs to be taken serous I share with you an amazing infrographic (courtesy of Hubze) that will really make you think a little hard when setting a new password or joining a new social network.
I would really love to find out how seriously you take your online security and welcome any suggestions for improvement to social network privacy.
